Wildflower
Magnus x alpinia

Wildflower.jpeg

Wildflower is an exciting up and coming mare by the ever underrated sire Magnus. Having had a successful career under the guidance of Emma and Lucy Longmire at Twinstar Racing, Wildflower commenced her first preparation with 2 placings, before a quick freshen saw her hit her straps at Hawkesbury over 1800m. Wildflower kept in with her excellent form and put another Hawkesbury win on the tally and backed up to win a rich race at Royal Randwick soon after. Her final race at Rosehill saw her come a competitive second in excellent company before being retired to stud. Showing her best at 1800-2000m, we are looking forward to giving her every opportunity at stud to produce quality foals. With foals on the ground yet to race, we hope to kick off Wildflower’s stud career in a similar fashion to her racing career

Caminetto_edited.jpg

A former $240,000 dollar yearling for the Mark Kavangh Stable, Caminetto is the perfect package of genuine top class pedigree, great conformation and talent. A half-sister to five winners, this regally bred Fastnet Rock mare is out of the imported Silver Hawk mare, Verry Speed. Which is also the family of Group 1 stars Scorpion and the Australian hero Zipping . An excellent pedigree to have such potent winners so close up on her page! We purchased Caminetto specifically to breed to Scorpz in conjunction with DC Bloodstock. With The Invincible Spirit connection with both Fastnet Rock and Silver Hawk having a great start with both Sansom and Rawaaq recording victories at Group 3 and Group 2 level. Sansom (Charm Spirit/Fastnet Rock), a dual winner at 2, has been successful at the elite level in Australia, for trainer Phillip Stokes last spring after solid victories in both the Bletchingly and Chantham Stakes, and continued this form winning the Bletchingly Stakes (2021) last spring. Rawaaq (Invincible Spirit/Silver Hawk) lived up to the compliment, winning on debut at the Curragh as a two-year-old then graduated at three to win the 1,000 Guineas Trial Stakes at Leopardstown. As a juvenile, Caminetto Placed at her two-year-old debut and going on to win over a mile at Kilmore in good company. Caminetto currently has a promising 2 year old by Akeed Mofeed in the Philip Stokes stable.
